ABOUT OUR CAUSE
Smiles From Africa (One Love) Orphanage is a non-profit registered charity in The Gambia. Our aim is to help and support the children living in the orphanage by improving their lives for a better future because they are the future. This orphanage is in great need of the basic necessities which are urgently required. Our fundraising efforts has a goal to give back the smiles they give us, humanity is a requirement in all children's lives. We are grateful and thank you so much for all your support. Our Committee Board members are dedicated to the mission of creating immediate and lasting change in the lives of those in need. Our work with donors and partners is aimed at achieving a more just and equal society. Join us in our plight by learning more about our mission and supporting our cause.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Inspired by a life-changing event, Smiles From Africa (One Love) was established in 2019 in The Gambia.
No child should wonder if they are going to receive a meal each day. All children deserve to be clean and every child deserve clean water to drink.
Our aim and passion is to help and support the children in the Orphanage in Gambia by improving their lives for a better future because they are the future.
An orphan child is still a person, an orphan child is still a boy or a girl, an orphan child is still somebody's son or daughter even if their parents are in heaven
This orphanage is in great need and the basic necessities are missing. The sum of £24,000 is a goal start to give back the smiles they give us, humanity is a requirement in all children's lives.
Every person has the chance to make a change for good — no matter how big or small. Whatever amount you can give, or time you are willing to dedicate, know that your contribution makes a difference in the lives of others.
